Red Hat acquiert Makara

L’éditeur d’une distribution open source Red Hat annonce le 30 novembre l’acquisition de Makara, un fournisseur de solutions permettant aux organisations de déployer, administrer, surveiller et dimensionner leurs applications à la fois sur des clouds privés et publics.
En intégrant l’infrastructure JBoss Enterprise Middleware à la « Cloud Application Platform » de Makara, Red Hat sera ainsi en mesure de fournir une solution de type PaaS plus complète qui permettra à ses clients de faire transiter leurs applications sur des clouds privés ou publics sans trop avoir à les modifier. Cette nouvelle offre viendra s’ajouter au portefeuille de solutions Cloud Foundations.
